So Figjam started in 2013 as an idea really. An idea that the way in which food & beverage concepts were being developed should change – they were too design-heavy without much thought as to how this cost would translate into the price that the consumer would pay. As it turns out this price was high.
We have learned a lot (painfully in some cases) over years and wanted to use that learning positively and be of assistance to all who work in the industry, want to be part of the industry or are generally interested in the dynamics around the industry.
So we pivoted, about 720 degrees and turned ourselves into an online knowledge platform that aims to change the F&B industry by organising and democratising industry knowledge to make life frankly easier for everyone!
